Saddles are one of the few items that cannot be crafted in Minecraft. However, they are essential for taming animals and can be useful to players who want to travel through the game faster than they could without them.

Trades
In Minecraft, you can trade for a saddle from Leatherworker Villagers in your world. To do so, you will need to have plenty of emeralds on hand. Once you have enough, head to a nearby Leatherworker Villager and start trading with them.
The higher the level of the Leatherworker, the more likely you are to receive a saddle in trade. For example, if you have a Leatherworker Villager at Level 3, you will receive a saddle 50% of the time in trades. Likewise, if you have a Leatherworker that has reached Level 5, your chances will increase to 50% as well.
Exploring
When you explore the Minecraft world, you will often find chests that have a chance to spawn a saddle inside of them. This can happen in underground dungeons, strongholds and temples.
You can also find saddles in chests that spawn in the Nether. These are generally found in caves and underground ruins, but you can sometimes find them in other locations such as Badlands biomes.
Fishing
You will also be able to catch a saddle while fishing. This is a relatively low chance (0.8%), but it does take enchantments into account. To make it even more likely, you can enchant your fishing rod with a Saddle Enchantment.
Striders
There are also mobs called striders that can be equipped with a saddle. These are much rarer than horses or mules, but they can be useful to ride around the Minecraft world if you’re looking for a fast way to explore.
These striders can be tough to tame and can be hard to find, but they can be a lot of fun once you have them tamed. They can also be helpful for transporting items from one place to another.
If you are not happy with the striders that can be found in your Minecraft world, there are also other types of mobs that can be tamed. These include horses, mules, donkeys and pigs.
When you have tamed these types of mobs, you can then use a saddle on them to control them. This allows you to steer them wherever you want, making it easier to move around the Minecraft world.
Tamed animals are great for traveling the Minecraft world, but they can be dangerous to keep around if you’re not careful. That’s why we recommend that you only tame them when you are sure they are safe to be around.
